Throughout my journey in the Honors College, I have strived to embody the IUPUI learning goals and embrace opportunities for personal and academic growth. As I embark on this retrospective, I am guided by the pillars of the Honors College Learning Goals, which have shaped my educational path and prepared me for the challenges ahead.

Engaged Learning Experiences: From my initiation in H200 to my current standing as an honors graduate, I have actively pursued a variety of engaged learning experiences like scholarly projects, community service and engagement,   that align with the Honors College's aspirations. My chosen artifacts represent a diverse range of experiences, including leadership roles, community service, mentorship, and practical application of classroom theories.

As an IUPD Cadet Officer, I immersed myself in the practical application of theoretical knowledge, honing skills in law enforcement, crisis management, and community engagement. This experience epitomized the essence of experiential learning, allowing me to adapt and thrive in real-world scenarios. Similarly, my involvement as a mentor in the Honors College and with organizations like Dream Alive showcased my commitment to service and mentorship, fostering growth and empowerment within communities, I was involved in different after school programs where I encouraged and helped students from marginized communities with high. school and college application . These experiences allowed me to forge meaningful connections and develop a strong sense of civic-mindedness, aligning with the Honors College's emphasis on engaged learning.

Communication, Problem-Solving, and Innovation: My artifact of community service with dream alive not only highlight my engagement in diverse experiences but also emphasize my development of essential skills such as communication, problem-solving, and innovation, working with different students, I had to adapt to different communication techniques, and I had to continously innovate ways to keep the students interested and motivated. Whether as a leader in law enforcement, a mentor guiding peers, or a volunteer advocating for marginalized communities, I have demonstrated a capacity for effective communication and creative problem-solving.

Through my participation in the SPEA-V 412 Leadership and Ethics class, I explored the complexities of leadership across various sectors, enriching my understanding of ethical decision-making and fostering innovative approaches to leadership challenges. These experiences have equipped me with the tools necessary to navigate complex environments and drive positive change.
